is proud to introduce a new member of our office team.
Josh Bailey, a
certified Physician Assistant, has joined our practice effective September 1st
2004 as a full-time medical provider.
You can expect a high quality of service including integrated
electronic medical records and quicker visit times.
Josh is a graduate of the
University
of
Utah Masters
program, has spent many years as a paramedic in the
Salt
Lake
Valley
, and comes to us highly recommended. Josh is seeing new patients as well as
established, and can usually accommodate same day appointments.
In addition we
have hired Advent Billing company, to complete all of our billing and
statements. You may notice a change on your statements, and any billing
questions should be directed to Advent billing at 801-272-4556.
We are in the
process of implementing a new EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system.
The new EMR will create better patient access which will enable us to
provide more efficient patient care. Our
goal is to make your medical experience with us a positive one.
Our practice
primarily is focusing on the following aspects, but includes the whole
spectrum of Family Medicine:
1. Comprehensive
medical physicals including health care maintenance.
2. Diabetes,
prediabetes and dysmetabolic syndrome X identification and treatment.
3.
Framingham
risk assessments predicting 10 year risks for heart attack and strokes.
4. Aggressive
cardiovascular and diabetes medical management.
5. “ABC”
risk reduction for vascular atherosclerotic disease.
6. Extensive
Mood and Behavior disorder diagnostics and management including complicated
mood disorders(unipolar,bipolar,etc.) and ADD or ADHD.
7. Asthma
diagnostics and management.
8. General
medical disorders such as: acne,
allergies, respiratory infections, gastrointestinal problems,
musculoskeletal disorders, skin disorders, fracture management and casting,
simple and complicated lacerations, skin biopsies, school physicals, etc…
