Michael Cobble, MD, AAFP, FNLA, is a private practice clinician in Salt Lake City, Utah. He practices a full range of medicine including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, dyslipidemia, bipolar and mood disorders. He is the director of the CanyonsMedicalCenter and on the board of directors for the Utah Healthy Living Foundation. The majority of his time is spent in direct clinical patient care, but clinical research and medical education are part of his passion and commitment as well.
Dr. Cobble is a member of the
AmericanAcademy of Family Practice and a board member and secretary for the Pacific Lipid Association. Since completing medical school and residency in the early 90’s he has obtained a masters in psychopharmacology and is a referral clinic for the Harvard Bipolar Research Group. He is a member of the National Lipid Association and subsequently passed the American Board of Clinical Lipidology exams. He is also a member of the American Society of Hypertension and is recognized as a Clinical Hypertension Specialist after completing ASH board exams. He has published many articles including topics such as pathophysiology and treatment of diabetes. He maintains a busy clinical practice and also serves on many advisory boards for vascular imaging, lipid management, cardiovascular risk management, diabetes and unipolar/bipolar disorders.
Dr. Cobble graduated from The College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho and attended medical school/residency at The University of Utah School of Medicine and affiliated residency programs, where he graduated with honors from the family practice program.
Celeste Duke, Medical Assistant
Celeste was born in New Zealand and moved to the states (New Hampshire) at the age of 10, where she developed a passion for Red Sox baseball. A graduate of Alta High School, she attended medical assistant school at the Jordan Applied Technology Center and has been at Canyons Medical Center since graduating in 2002. This vivacious Kiwi enjoys snowboarding, candlelight dinners, and long walks on the beach.
